Hey we’re WOCDC, and we’re hiring a Content Producer to manage our social media channels and create fun and engaging content across our platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).

This is a hybrid volunteer position that includes both remote and in-person work when needed. This position also includes a $600 honorarium. We are currently accepting racialized women, femmes and non-binary people that are connected to or live in Durham Region, Ontario, as applicants.

This is a part-time (minimum 4 hours and maximum 16 hours per week) position under a contract that extends to May 31st, 2024, with the possibility of renewal.

WOCDC has been focused on increasing its community reach and ramping up its programs and internal operations. For 2023, we are focused on the theme of reconnection, diving deeper into the untold stories of Durham Region, uncovering the current needs of the communities we serve and exploring the outdoors. We have an exciting year ahead, and we need a Content Producer to help us move with intention.

As part of the Marketing and Communications team, you will lead social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities through content creation, planning and engagement tactics.
